DECAPITATED: More Details Revealed About Polish Benefit Concert

DECAPITATED's MySpace page has been updated with the following message:

"On December 2, exactly a month after our dearest friend and brother [DECAPITATED drummer Witold 'Vitek' Kieltyka] died in a tragic accident, the musicians from the bands HATE, SCEPTIC, CRIONICS, HEART ATTACK, VIRGIN SNATCH, THY DISEASE, DELIGHT will be playing a tribute concert to honour Vitek's memory and help his family. All bands are going to prepare special set-lists for this occasion and all proceeds will go to Vitek's family fund.

"All friends and fans of DECAPITATED are welcome to take part in this extraordinary evening which will be held in Krzysztofory club (2 Szczepanska Street ) in Krakow. This is going to be the first of the series of concerts dedicated to Vitek's memory organised in Poland and around the globe. We'll keep you posted on similar events scheduled in Warsaw, Katowice, Trojmiasto and other cities in Poland, as well as in London and Los Angeles! Check out www.decapitatedband.net for more news on the concerts and other ways of supporting Vitek and Covan's [DECAPITATED singer] families in these difficult times. Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka died on November 2 in a Russian hospital from injuries sustained in a road collision. He was 23 years old. DECAPITATED singer Covan (real name: Adrian Kowanek) was also hurt in the accident, which involved the band's tour bus and a truck carrying wood in Gomel, on the Russia/Belarus border. The frontman reportedly also sustained a head injury in the collision, which is believed to have been the fault of the band's driver (although this has not yet been officially confirmed). Covan has since been moved to a hospital in Kraków, Poland. Doctors describe his condition as stable and he is showing signs of improvement every day.
